Obituary of Juanita L. Hahn

Juanita L. Hahn, age 90, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at her home in Garden City, Kansas.  She was born on March 21, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of William and Gertrude Powers Thornbrugh.  A resident of Garden City, Kansas since 1946 moving from Holcomb, Kansas, she was a Homemaker and Mom and loved to play bingo.

She was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, EHU and Eagles Lodge Auxiliary all of Garden City, Kansas.

On September 30, 1948 she married George Francis Hahn in Garden City, Kansas.  He passed away on November 29, 1996 in Garden City, Kansas.

Survivors include her Ten Children - Barbara & Francis Ohmes of Knoxville, Tennessee, Charles & Claudia Hahn of Westminster, Colorado, Theresa John of Wichita, Kansas, James & Terri Hahn of Garden City, Kansas, Daniel & Patricia Hahn of Garden City, Kansas, Gerald “Jed” Hahn of Garden City, Kansas, Linda & Rex Mead of Garden City, Kansas, Nathan Hahn of Garden City, Kansas, Diane & Troy Burns of Lubbock, Texas, Jeffrey Hahn of Garden City, Kansas, Twenty Seven Grandchildren, and Thirty Five Great Grandchildren.

Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas with Fr. Warren Stecklein presiding.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main Street, Garden City, Kansas.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Garden City, Kansas.
