Norman did the custom lettering on all of our Dad’s trucks when I was growing up.
He was always kind and humble, generous beyond the common man and always greeted me warmly with his wonderful smile and words . May the LORD bless him because of the blessing he was to so many of us !!!
I’ve always loved him like a Brother !
William “Bill” Hebrlee
Norman and I were close in high school. We spent many a weekend having fun and trying to stay out of trouble. My mom thought the world of Norman. We drifted apart after high school, but I have fond memories of our friendship. RIP old friend.
Sign painting was only one of Normans skills. He also rebuilt corvettes and was friends of hundreds of people and was always their to help anyone in need and would not accept a payment of any kind. Normans ancestors were from Switzerland and founded the writing of a bible in their ancestral name. Norman was a very loving person and a computer genius. Normans hand writing looked like kings English. May God bless Norman and his family. May he Rest In Peace. May his good deeds live on forever in those lives he touched. Meet us at the golden gates Norman for we will all be their someday. Dennis E. Smith, previous City Commissioner.
