My first recollections of my cousin Mike are from the 1960's. He had a rough start in life with the separation of his parents and as a kid Mike was a handful for Bob, Laura and my grandparents during his early summers on the farm. Through the patience and love of his family Mike grew into a kind and generous man of good humor and good deeds. Few of us, if any, will leave this world with a better life story than Mike Vogt. I'm sure every who knew Mike wishes there had been more times together, I know I do. I've attached a photo of Mike and all of his sisters in a younger year. God Bless you all.

Our prayers go out to the Vogt family. Mike was a great guy. Very kind and always very helpful in navigating our farming relationship. A relationship that began with Mike's father and my grandfather.

Praying for the Vogt Family. We will miss Mike's kind heart and beautiful spirit. The relationship was generational in farming starting with my father and uncle. There are people that have a light about them and Mike truly was one of those that you will never forget. Praying for a great family. God, I guess decided to join him with his mother again.

In addition to being his computer guy for many years, and him being a great customer of ours for just as long, Mike invited us out to hunt pheasant on some of his ground way back in 2004. We hunted with him for lots of years after that and he was always quick with a smile and fun to laugh with. I'll miss those times, but not as much as I will simply miss him.

Rest in peace Mike. Glad you did well in life. Thanks for praying with me and helping steer my life back on the right track. Mike had the heart of an evangelist. I'm sure you passed the finals. Arrivederci. Linda D.

My deepest condolences to Sharon, Simone, Desiree and the Vogt family. I have a lot of great memories of Mike. He truly is an ambassador for Christ. My eyes well up when I picture in my minds eye, Gods holy Angels escorting Mike through the pearled gates of Heaven. I can see him with that patented Mike Vogt smile and laugh, double pumping hand shakes, hugging, and dancing around with all those people who have gone before us. He’s home. I’m saddened we are left here to trudge on without him, but we’ll see him again. I pray God’s comfort for you all through this painful time. With much Love . Bryan D.

Mike was a kind hearted person. He loved his family. I will never forget the times that he would help me as a child. He always had a smile no matter what.

Mike didn’t know a stranger. Made time for everyone no matter how busy he was. Shared numerous stories of his family with all as he was so proud of them. And made sure his customers of his seed sales were happy. A neighbor to everyone inspite of many miles between. A friend to all. Know God has expanded his garden of angels. RIP MIKE and prayers to your families

Jackie and I with our boys moved to Tribune in 1985. From the first day that we visited the church we had an instant friendship with Mike and Sharon. From Sunday lunches to bike rides to watching movies and naps and prayer time and just sharing live between our families and kids. Mike and Jackie were always sharing farming stories and laughing about this or that. It was such a blessing and friendship that we will cherish forever.
