First of all,I would like to extend condolences to Danny's family and friends. May God comfort you during this difficult time. Danny and I became close friends in our mid teens. We seemed to share many of the same interests. Water sports was one of them. I have fond memories of a fishing trip into the wilderness of Deer river near Thompson. Vern, from the barbershop was up there, also. He was kind of our guide. We caught an amazing amount of large Pickeral and Northern Pike. Many people would ask us if we were brothers or twins. Danny and I were the best men for Ervin and Barb at there wedding. Had so many fun times. Another outstanding time was at the time of Judy's sickness. Shortly before her passing, we were at their house, just west of Scott Mennonite church. We prayed and cried together. Then Judy said "dont cry for me, I am the winner, I am going to be with Jesus" It wasn't long, and we were on that cold barren, snowy cemetery north of Sharon Springs. There were only a few people left there. Danny was standing by himself by the open tomb, so again I I stood by his side and we cried together. Although life had a way of separating us the last 30 years, I will always cherish his friendship.
