I am so sorry to hear this! Stu and I had recently re-connected on Facebook. I went to grade school, middle school and high school with Boyd. I am deeply saddened to hear he has passed. I pray The Lord comforts his family during this time.

Stu truly was the jack of all trades with his handy skills. Anytime Stu was coming to visit Cole & Shiraya in Tulsa it was an opportunity to get some guy time in with working on our cars. I’ll never forget the first time I got to partake on a car fix hangout with Stu & Cole with switching out brake pads on our cars. We bought QT burritos and Stu sat in a lawn chair and “managed” us while eating his burrito. Most of the time it was him telling us what we were doing wrong or an opportunity for him to make fun of us. His humor was just the best, with so much wisdom back it up. Grateful to have known and been apart of Stu’s time here in Tulsa. He sure loved his boys and anyone who cared and loved for Cole & Jason. The Adams are continuing to pray for your family during this time. We love y’all!

I came to know Boyd throughout a very difficult time in my life. He was a source of experience, wisdom and inspiration. His humor always lifted my spirits. I will miss him.
My condolences to the Proffitt family. Boyd “Stu” was always a character with a one of kind witty sense of humor. I’ll always have fond memories of Stu.
