Obituary of Laura E. Shuster

Laura E. Shuster, age 85, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at her brother John’s home in Horace, Kansas.  She was born on June 25, 1936, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of George & Minnie Archer Grubb.  A resident of Horace, Kansas since June 2, 2021, moving from Lindale, Texas, she was a nurse.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Harmony, Texas, and helped complete 100 projects through the Sowers Ministry (Servants On Wheels Ever Ready).

On September 13, 1958, she married Edward E. Shuster in Williamsburg, Virginia.  He survives.

Survivors include her Husband - Edward E. Shuster of Horace, Kansas, One Son - LeRoy E. Shuster of Belmopan, Belize, Two Daughters - Karis Holman of Lake Tahoe, California, Jill Hansen of Littleton, Colorado, One Foster Son - Joseph Birch of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Three Brothers - John & Edna Grubb of Tribune, Kansas, Harold & Shirley Grubb of Tribune, Kansas, Patrick & Patricia Grubb of Tribune, Six Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, and One Brother & Sister In Law - Jerry & Juanita Grubb & One Foster Daughter - Theresa Birch.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. M.T. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the Tribune United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas, with Jeri Farmer Smith and Pastor Rick Kingham presiding. Interment will be in the Greeley County Cemetery.
