Obituary of Abiel Abgel Zapata
Abiel Angel Zapata, age 3, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on August 29, 2017 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Angel Fernando Zapata and Nancy Valenzuela Garcia. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2019 moving from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He was a member of the Casa De Oracion Church of Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include his Parents - Angel Zapata & Nancy Valenzuela Garcia of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Jaquelyn Zapata of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Gabriel Zapata of Scott City, Kansas, One Step Brother - Julian Rodriguez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Grandparents - Delia Sandoval of Tribune, Kansas, Juana Camacho of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jesus Valenzuela of Florida, Daniel Zapata of Mexico, Great Grandparents - Maria Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Amador Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 09, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with the Pastor Humberto Navarrete presiding.
Memorials in Lieu of Flowers can be made to the Abiel Zapata Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
