Melva and Freeman taught Mike and I how to play Jokers. We had so much fun playing Jokers, chatting and sharing meals together. This photo was made back in 2006 when Melva and Freeman lived in South Fork, Colorado. We will dearly miss Freeman. Donna Ikenberry and Mike Vining.

You couldn't ask for a better "big brother."". I remember being so proud of him..in that beautiful white Navy suit. He was always in the mind of...upward and onward..you can always be better...do more. And It brings a smile to my face when i remember that whenever he introduced me to someone he always said " this is my baby sister" ..even if I was 80 years old. I will miss his earthly presence but I know he is up there flying with the Angel's. God bless.

Freeman once told me this story. He said when you are at a supper or a banquet never get rid of your fork because the best is yet to come in the desert that is coming. He said that life is just like that because after our death the best is yet to come. I will miss talking to Freeman on this earth, but will see him on the other side.
