I wanted to send my sympathies. I am Laurie Marchant Konz and I live in Hays. Delores was my cousin. My dad was Joe. I remember gathering at Aunt Nora’s house when I was very young. They were happy times. I just happened to see Deloris’ passing in the Hayspost. I just wanted to reach out and say you are in my prayers.
The loss of someone dear to us is never easy. I hope all the cherished memories that you have of Dolores brings you some light during this dark time. My deepest condolences. My fondest memories are when she came to Manchaca to take care of Dana after tractor accident. Sometimes you just need your Mom. Although it was a scary event, we managed to laugh and cut up. What a character! I'm so glad we had that time together.
