I will never forget the day Willis came to my father's funeral. It met so very much to me, more than he could have ever known. A loving, caring man. Will always be our class president of 1970. Sing with the Angels my friend.. you will be so missed.

Willis was a huge influence on me growing up. He spent his summers working on our farm during most of my adolescent years. He taught me to play the guitar and picked out the one I still play today. Much of who I am today was formed from our interactions, working, playing and goofing off during those years.

Mr.Pracht was probably the one through my whole education that made sure I was successful. He always knew exactly what advice to give for that situation . Mr.Pracht would always tell us that we were going to be world changers or something along those lines he always wanted us to be the best of the best and never settle for anything less thank you for everything ❤️Love you forever and may you fly high

I meet Willis at Open Mic 5 years ago. I was very impressed with his talent. Hold my wife That the kind of person I would like be to have the confident to play and sing out like that. 2 weeks later he had me convinced to come up on stage and try. Been friends every since. There are a lot of us missing Willis. I know he playing in the Big Jam now. RIP my friend.

I met Willis and began playing music with him I guess about 18 years ago. There is a hole in the world tonight. Willis will be deeply missed, but remembered in our hearts and our music.

I met Willis in 2009 at Tumbleweed Music festival. He was an amazing man and I've enjoyed his music at the various music festivals and jam sessions. Although I did not play an instrument I enjoyed taking pictures at these events and sharing them with his many friends. We will miss his beautiful presence. His music will continue on in our memories.

First of all, this is a great photo of him. He was such an amazing educator. He taught my brother, my sister and me, poor guy. I’ve never experienced another teacher who was so invested in their students as he was. He made me want to be a teacher, but I wasn’t cut out for it. No matter how many years went by, we’d talk for a while whenever we saw each other. He came to a gathering we had when my dad died to give his support to my siblings and me. Such a caring man who never forgot a face. Sometimes he’d bring his guitar to class and sang for us. Those were the best days!
