Shirley Laverne Duncan, age 77, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kansas. She was born January 18, 1930 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of James and Laura Francis Eyman. A lifetime resident of Garden City, recently moving to the Alterra Sterling House in Dodge City, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Community Congregational Church of Garden City.
On October 5, 1947 she married James L. Duncan in Garden City, Kansas. He died April 10, 2007 in Dodge City, Kansas.
Survivors Include: One Son, Scott Duncan of Reeds Spring, Missouri One Daughter, Debbi Wehkamp of Garden City, Kansas; Five Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Duncan, an infant daughter and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with the Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding.
Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas
Friends may call from 10am-8pm Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
The family requests that memorials be given to the Alterra Sterling House of Dodge City in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
