Betty Lou Smith, age 84, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on January 19, 1936, in Willow Springs, Missouri, the daughter of Ray and Bertha Moore Morris. Betty was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1954 moving from Leoti, Kansas and was a homemaker and mother. She attended the Pence Christian Church in Pence, Kansas. On July 16, 1954, she married Charles E. Smith in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on December 17, 2019 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her Four Sons - Craig Smith of Scott City, Kansas, Mike Smith of Scott City, Kansas, Mark Smith and David Petty of Wichita, Kansas, J.R. & Garee Geist Smith of Scott City, Kansas, Three Daughters - Marla Williams of Scott City, Kansas, Rhonda & Chuck Bauer of Pleasanton, Kansas, JoAnn McLemore of Grand Junction, Colorado, One Half Sister - Leah Richardson of Washington, Eleven Grandchildren, and Sixteen Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Daughter - Delinna Smith, Two Sisters - Iva Hoffman and Retha Morris, One Infant Brother, One Half Brother - Jimmy Franklyn, and One Half Sister - Leona Bouwens. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas with Garee Geist-Smith officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed on Price & Sons Funeral Home facebook page. Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials can be made to the Scott County VIP Center in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. Until 8:00 p.m Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
