Pearl J. Hunt, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on October 20, 1935 in Macon, Illinois, the daughter of Charlie Lear and Gertrude Inez Keen Sadler. A resident of WIchita County, Kansas since 1955 moving from Dighton, Kansas, she was a farm wife.
She was a member of the Lydia Methodist Church in Lydia, Kansas, and was past board member of the Wichita County Hospital, Wichita County Extension and the Wichita County FSA Office.
On November 7, 1953 she married Bertys Hunt in Nottoway County, Virginia. He passed away on November 27, 2018 in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors include her One Daughter - Marsha & Randy Heronemus of Leoti, Kansas, Three Sons - Bret Hunt of Leoti, Kansas, Bart Hunt of Leoti, Kansas, Bill & Gail Hunt of Marienthal, Kansas, One Brother - Earl Sadler of Macon, Illinois, Five Sisters - Margie Son of Great Bend, Kansas, Helen Bruner of Manter, Kansas, Betty Fulmer of Shields, Kansas, Reba White of Scott City, Kansas, Virginia Kadyk of St. Louis, Missouri, One Brother in Law - Bill Hunt of Scott City, Kansas, Eight Grandchildren, and Sixteen Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her Parents, Husband, and One Sister - Marilyn Batterton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lydia Methodist Church in Lydia, Kansas at a later date and time.
Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may be made to the Leoti EMS, WIchita County Amusement Association or the Lydia Methodist Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.
Inurnment will be in the Lydia Cemetery
