When we were in high school, Amy used to make me tapes of Pete's old country records. My favorite song from them was "Skip a Rope," in which kids play games with terrible names because they watch adults behave terribly. Pete was an honest, kind person, and I think the awesome photo of him on this page shows his inner country star shining through.
Amy and Donna, I'm thinking of you, particularly.
Sincerely,
Bryn
Uncle Pete was such a good, kind, respected, honest, hard working man with an accepting and loving heart to all the people who were blessed to have him in their lives. I know he is enjoying a celestial cup of joy and laughter with my Dad as they are singing and rejoicing together in heaven. I will fondly treasure all my memories of him. May your heavy, aching hearts hold tight to each other for comfort and serenity.
