Thelma G. Janssen, age 85, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Wichita County Heath Center in Leoti, Kansas. She was born on January 27, 1935 in Bushton, Kansas, the daughter of Louis & Alma G. Cook Novotny. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 1957 moving from California, she was a retired CNA.
On September 2, 1956 she married Gordon Kent Janssen in Bushton, Kansas. He survives.
Survivors include her Husband - Kent Janssen of Leoti, Kansas, Two Daughters - Kimberly Janssen of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Karol Janssen of San Francisco, California, One Brother - Stuart Novotny of Soloman, Kansas, Three Sisters - Karen Hoffman of Kansas City, Kansas, Judy Long of Wichita, Kansas, Leona Barkow of Ellsworth, Kansas, Three Grandchildren, and Two Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Brother and Three Sisters.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held at a later date and time at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
There will be no calling times.
