Christopher D. Valdenar, age 29, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at his home in Hugoton, Kansas. He was born on December 3, 1990, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, the son of Gregory A. and Karen N. Haun Valdenar. Chris was a lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas until moving to Hugoton, Kansas in 2018.
Survivors include his Parents - Greg and Niki Valdenar of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Ronnie Valdenar of Scott City, Kansas, and Three Grandparents - Charles & Willa Mae Haun of Speedwell, Tennessee, and David Arnold of Perry, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother - Mary Patricia Valdenar.
Due to the current virus restrictions, Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date and time with Don Williams presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials In Lieu of Flowers can be made to Christopher Valdenar Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday but will be limited to 10 people at a time.
