Homer Glenn Dozier, age 89, died Friday, February 10, 2006, at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. He was born November 12, 1916 @ Moundville, Missouri the son of Charlie O. and Mabel Eads Dozier. He graduated from Chillicothe Business Colllege (Missouri) and later studied accounting at Denver University. He was an accountant @ the Harris-Kerr-Forster Accounting Firm and in 1951 was transferred to Lexington, Kentucky and lived there for seven years returning to Denver in 1958 and retiring in 1982. He had been a resident of Garden City resident since 1998 moving from Lakewood, Colorado.
On July 13, 1947 he married Artie Pearl Dailey @ Denver, Colorado. She survives.
Other survivers include: 3 Daughters: Ruth Ann Branham of Waynesville, Missouri, Mary Beth Doty of Garden City, Kansas and Susan Jean Pagel of Battle Ground, Washington and 4 Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by an infant brother and his parents.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30am, on Monday, February, 13, 2006 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village Chapel in Garden City, Kansas with the Revs. Tim Davis & Marion Heisey officiating.
There will be no calling times.
Inurnment will be held in the Moore Cemetery in Nevada, Missouri
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the Garden Valley Retirement Village or to Cadence International Fellowship Ranch both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
