I was lucky enough to be able to work with Nikki, and have Austyn in my class. Nikki helped me out many times! She was selfless and sarcastic. She didnt hold back, and I loved that. I pray for peace and comfort for Austyn and the family.

We were the two oldest soldiers in basic training and also the same age. She was a tough little woman and stood her ground. I remember she was doubtful about her last PT Test at AIT to graduate, but she made it happen. She was always laughing and smiling but serious when it was time to work and can she drive a big truck or what. She is going to be missed but not forgotten. Til Valhalla, Battle Buddy - SSG North 88M

I understand it’s really sad losing her such a brave confident humorous person but you know she’s probably watching over us right now and she doesn’t want us to be sad about it she Would want us to make something of ourselves and accomplish our goals she will always be in our hearts and she will be our guardian angel watching over us and I bet she’s having a great time in heaven her unique humor will be missed and she was a great motivation and I have learned to take her words and make something positive

Nikki was a true straight forward smart alec in the best sense of humor!! She gave her all every day to the roughest students we have at CSIC!! She can to work with an upbeat attitude!! She will be missed by all!! I was blessed to have Nikki and her son in my class. She was devoted to her children. She love art to my surprised and was amazing at it!! She also loved my dot to dot books which go beyond 1,000 numbers!! She just finished one and it’s hanging in my classroom and then she took 2 more!! We worked together also in the after school program-she would sit with the students until they finished whatever assignment they had. She was also very active in our running club and could out last anyone!!! A funny is she just had gotten her eyebrows tattooed — they were very dark at first!! We laughed about it at the time!! They turned out so well!!! She will be missed greatly!! Hugs to Austin and Bubba—-

I am so very sorry to hear of Nikki's passing. I never met her but we had many FB chats about the military, the state of the country and how talented she was. Such a sweet, caring, young woman. I pray that the family find peace in knowing that she will always be with you in your heart and wonderful memories you shared.
