Bob was the first person I met in Lindsborg,KS as a freshman at Bethany College. He had long curly hair and was playing a recorder under a tree. We became friends that first year at Bethany, then he moved on to travel the country by hitchiking. The next time I saw him was in Garden City at the Grain Bin. He walked by me, and I immediately knew his eyes. He was a free spirit in 1971, and it was unimaginable to me that he was an attorney. We had many fun times, and a few times when we helped each other get through bad times. He popped up in my head tonight, and I can;t believe he is gone. Bob, you were a most interesting friend and I'm sorry that we'd lost touch. So easy and fun to tease! I miss you already. Deb

Bob has been in our family for over 28 years. He employed alot of our family specifically my sister for those 28 years but I believe we were all more than that, we are family. From fourwheeling at the river 22 years ago to chatting with him about his life just 2 weeks ago and expressing what a cool ride I have :). I'm going to miss Bob with all my heart. What an impact he made and a good heart he has.. miss you Bob, rest easy.

K Garbers - I've known Bob over 25 years and all I can say is...He's definitely one of a kind. Never a dull moment when Bob's around. One story to share...a few years ago, Bob came into the Courthouse office and said he'd like to bring us all a DQ treat, and asked what we'd like. We told him we wanted Dilly Bars. He thought that was a joke. But he went and told them what we
requested, and brought them to us and thanked us for introducing them to him. I couldn't believe after all these years, he'd never had a DQ Dilly Bar. "Crazy" Bob...you'll be missed a lot. God Bless...RIP my friend
