Obituary of Virginia L. Garcia

Garden City, Kansas Virginia L. Garcia, age 77, died on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on May 7, 1942 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of Rosendo and Frances Medina Garcia. She worked as a housekeeping supervisor for St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas for 42 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Fiesta Committee, Volunteer at St. Catherine Hospital, and had taught religion class at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors include: Three Siblings Josephine Mancha of Garden City, Kansas Ramona Garcia of Garden City, Kansas John Garcia of Lawrence, Kansas numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 10 am - 5 pm at Price & Sons Funeral Home. Vigil Services will be held on Thursday at 7 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas with Father Jacob Schnieder presiding. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the St. Mary Catholic Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N.
