I hope this note gets to Thelma’s family as I am in Africa with limited digital service.
When we moved to Tribune in 1962, Thelma was our closest neighbor, cousin, bus driver, card player, and telephone party line sharer, among other things.

I remember Thelma coming through Leoti to Scott City or Garden City and would get gas or goodies from Coastal Mart on her way to bingo. At that time I think her son worked at the John Deere place in Leoti, I am sadden to hear of her passing, because she always made my shift better when she came through.
