Janice M. Stebens went home to be with our lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. She was born on March 3, 1945 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Lawrence and Doris (Hahn) Webb. She attended Holcomb schools and the Liberal School of cosmetology. She practiced cosmetology in Garden City until she married Edward F. Stebens on November 26, 1966.
She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 2279 and a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Janice enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to country music, doing crafts, embroidery, baking, canning, and playing bingo and wahoo.
She is survived by three daughters; Angela (Freddie) Hartley of Garden City, Kansas, Brenda (Anthony) Ross of Holcomb, Kansas, Cynthia (Fred) Baker of Wichita, Kansas; Seven Grandchildren, Marcus (Nichole) Baker of Valley Center, Kansas, Joseph (Andie) Ross of Lubbock, Texas, Matthew Baker of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Taylor Hartley of Garden City, Kansas, Megan Hartley of Garden City, Kansas, Levi Ross of Holcomb, Kansas, Patricia Ross of Holcomb, Kansas; three great grandchildren, Shane Baker of Valley Center, Kansas, Paislee Baker of Valley Center, Kansas, Delilah Ross of Lubbock, Texas; two Brothers, Lester (Leanna) Webb of Deerfield, Kansas and Melvin Webb of Deerfield, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death buy her husband, parents, twin sister, Janet Wilks, brothers, Harold Webb and Raymond Webb and Great grandson Zalin Ross.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 1-8 pm at Price & Sons Funeral Home with the vigil service beginning at 7 pm.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Mary Catholic Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St. Garden City, Kansas.
