Obituary of Maudie Lorene Seeger
Maudie Lorene Seeger, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her home in Leoti, Kansas. Maudie was born April 12, 1944 in Johnson County, Kansas, the daughter of Albert Isaac & Carrie Ann (Hastings) Goff. A lifetime western Kansas resident, she was a clinical dietician technician. She enjoyed going to her grandkids sporting events, doing word searches, watching Hallmark Christmas movies and watching the Kansas City Royals.
Maudie was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Garden City, Kansas.
In June of 1961 she married Larry Seeger at Hutchinson, Kansas.
Maudie’s surviving family includes her Husband - Larry Seeger of Lakin, Kansas, Four Children - Tammy & Gary Altman of Leoti, Kansas, Lance Seeger of Moreland, Kansas, Jill & Jerry Stevenson of Lakin, Kansas, Heather & Anthony Beltran of Lakin, Kansas, Six siblings - Dottie & Frank Shrimp of South Hutchinson, Kansas, Dora & Richard Newby of Jefferson City, Missouri, Beverly Goff of Garden City, Kansas, Barbara Goff of Hutchinson, Kansas, Nellie Goff of Hutchinson, Kansas, Norman Goff of Hutchinson, Kansas, Eleven Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren.
Her parents, two brothers, four sisters, two half brothers and a nephew precede her in death.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
There will be no calling times.
Memorials may be given to Garden Valley Retirement Village in care of the funeral home.
