I met Chris working Bingo in the mid 90's and soon became good friends with this dedicated catholic and brother Knight. Chris soon joined our spring golf trip and immediately fit in and became a friend to all.
Chris always put other peoples needs before his, and that is one of the reasons that he was beloved by all.
Debby and I joined the golf league he managed at his insistence, and we enjoyed every round with him.
It is so apropos, that Chris missed the golf league the last 2 weeks to manage a blood drive for the Knights, and then to go back to Kansas to help his Dad,
Will miss you forever
Jim

I met Chris through my brother Jim who knew him well. We golfed in the spring for eight days since 2003.
Every year he always came with the same attitude happy and ready to enjoy a week of friendship and golf. Of course let’s not forget his dip hot from his garden Texas style the way I liked .
He will be missed but I am sure with all the kindness and love he shared always putting others before himself will help him find a place in heaven.
My prayers go out to all the relatives and friends of Chris he will be missed but never forgotten. Love you brother. Amen

Chris, a great friend to me and many. Your big heart for caring for other people is how most people will remember you. For me, I will also cherish the many times we bowled and golfed together.. God Bless you. See you later, John Miller

I worked with Chris many years ago at USG. He was just one nice guy.

I worked with Chris at USG. However, I really came to know Chris on the golf course. He was the organizer and driving force behind our golf league. What a gentleman! He always had a smile on his face and was eager to make sure everyone was doing well. To say he will be missed is a tremendous understatement. I had shared with our golf league members that "one of the great ones is gone from our lives" and that pretty well sums up my thoughts.
