Sarah, Mike, Kevin, and family - I am very sorry to hear of Aunt Helen’s passing. We only visited you in Tribune a couple times in the 70’s but I remember Aunt Helen as very lively, humorous, and kind. My dad loved to mention how much he liked her great sense of humor. It really is the passing of the last of a generation. Our deepest condolences. Love, Becky

Helen is one-of-a-kind. I cherished any and all time I spent with her. Memories of her on our field trip, her book reviews, and the doll shop always make me smile. She and Alice and Marge are laughing together again Rest In Peace, dear lady.

Where to start? Helen made being a member of Pride so much fun. Working at Sacks, she made everyone welcome and her laugh was infectious. Then came the dolls. I loved making them and if I messed up drawing on an eyebrow she would say “we never let an ugly doll go out of the shop”, and
fix it for me. She was famous for her book reviews and recitations. She raised a beautiful daughter and two fine sons, was so proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed her daughters-in-law. She was a genuinely good person who will be missed by the community.
