To: Lee Strickler and all the family, My husband, Gail V. Howard and I offer our sincere condolences on the death of your mother. She was my Cousin (by marriage) to my first Cousin, Rassie Strickler, and I have such fond memories of her and Rassie who lived just a couple of miles from my parents: Leslie & Nora Harper. They would come to our Elementary School plays and we always got together for birthdays with homemade icecream and cake. Later after they adopted you, Lee, they were so excited and were so proud of you. I remember taking Glenna to the Hospital each day on my way to work when Rassie was in the Hospital at K.U. Med. and I was there when Glenna brought you to see Rassie; you were just 3 or 4 years old and Rassie adored you. We were all so sad when he passed away and still miss him. He lived with my parents when all his cousins went off to WWII because he was so sad he couldn't go and fight for his Country when them because of his heart. I was a little girl and was told that Rassie was such a big help to my mother and dad. Please know how much we will miss Glenna and Rassie forever! Sincerely, Marilyn M. Howard
