I’m surprised Verna’s obit didn’t mention that Wayne, Lois and family lived in Tribune for many years before moving to Leoti. I think they moved around 1960. Verna was a good friend when we were in grade school and we spent many hours playing together after school. She was a good person with lots of spunk. I ran into often in high school and afterwards. Have good thoughts and memories of the Funks.

Verna was one of the best classmates ever! I have so many fond memories of her during our years in high school together. She was always a ton fun! I remember one time when had to drag a reluctant Verna to one of our class reunions. I think she was glad we did. I will always have a smile on my face When I hink of her. She was truly a special person. My sympathy goes to her family and all who loved her.
So sorry to hear of Verna's passing. She was such a character and a friend.
