Nina, I'm so sorry to read of the passing of Jerry. I haven't seen either of you for many years, but have memories of you both from the bowling alley. Prayers of comfort for you during this difficult time.
We are going to greatly miss Uncle Jerry, but are thankful he is no longer suffering. I will always cherish my special relationship with “Uncle Brown Eyes”.
Love, Hugs, and Prayers,

Nina, and family,
We have such fond memories of our Garden City friendships in the 50's. So much of our social life was centered around activities and extensions of friendships at the Fellowship Baptist Church. Russel was Homer's closest friend starting in the 8th grade. He was also a tagalong with the Drinkwater brothers who were more like his brothers - including coming to Jesus together at a FB tent revival in.1950; And where we were married in 1958. A part of our hearts remain with that congregation and certainly including the Birkles and Bates.
Charles Drinkwater Flag Memorial at the church gets a visit from us whenever we are in town, along with other Unruh and Drinkwater relatives buried there.
We want you to know we still have love for you and Jerry's family members; some who were young children, but knew Shirley very well as their Bible teacher.
Please know we pray for you all as you grieve your loss of Jerry. We knew him less well but respected his commitment to you and his Spiritual values.
God Bless and keep each of you,
Homer & Shirley
