My condolences to you, Donna....Ray was a very kind man. I think the word KIND describes him best. The horse industry lost one of the most talented farriers ever! I pray peace and comfort over you, Donna. He truly was a great man!

Ray was the sweetest kindest gentleman I have ever known I really enjoyed our visits and many discussions on a variety of topics. I learned a lot from him about the working of the horse from the hoof up. Because of Ray I got a few more years of riding out of my mare before she retired. Ray will be missed by many. Prayers to all

We’ll never forget his coming all the way back to Kansas from the east coast for our wedding 48 years ago. His kindness and friendship are treasured. Rest In Peace.

Dear Donna;
I came to know Ray through his work on our horses. Craig knew and respected him prior to our getting horses, knew of his skill and reliability so he was who we called once we had the need.
I always enjoyed visiting with him when he came. He could ALWAYS catch the one that didn't want to be caught. He also took the time to work on the foals, saying it would help once they grew older.
We are so sorry he is gone way too soon, and sorry for your loss!

My dad, my granddad, Ray's dad, Merle, the Kuder's and several more started a roping club in Greeley County in the 1950's which was located across from our house 9 miles east of Tribune. Ray was always there with his dad roping. We Reynolds' boys were younger so we just watched. Sure enjoyed Ray Lee & the rest of the roping bunch. They shared a lot of good fellowship with one another. Ray Lee was a hard worker & a great guy to be around. I just visited with him the week before he passed. He will be missed by the community.
