So sorry to hear of your loss! We were friends way back in Charlie’s tractor pulling days. We still live in Holyoke, Colorado, so if any of you are out this way, stop in.
I'm so sorry for your families loss I only got to know him a little this last few years from taking my youth group to your house at Halloween. You guys were always so wonderful to us. He will be missed.
Charlie was always a big man in my eyes. The last few years have been tough on Charlie and all his family. But true to himself, Charlie was a brave and valiant man through all his trials. God bless him and his family.
We were so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. We have wonderful memories drag racing with him and Sherry. You couldn't ask for a better matched couple. I'll never forget Sherry telling a story when she was diagnosed with cancer. She was wondering how she would get people rounded up to take her to chemo appointments, when Charlie told her: 'I'm taking you to them. That's part of my job!'

I am Phyllis Drussel Koch Tillman, daughter of Raymond and Bessie Drussel. Our families grew up just a mile from each other. It saddened me that Charlie was in such a horrific accident a few years ago. His recovery had to be painful; yet, I understand, he dealt with it bravely by having a loving wife and family for support.
