Obituary of Sharon Wormington

Sharon K. Wormington, age 64, passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer at her residence in Garden City, Kansas on Friday, March 9, 2018. She was born on June 26, 1953, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Wilford and Blanche Zimmerman.
She was an active member of the Miss Rodeo Kansas, Beef Empire Days Rodeo, All American Beef Battalion, and the American Red Cross.
She is survived by:
Husband Kurt Roberts of Garden City, Kansas
One Daughter Dawn (Charlie) Williams of Garden City, Kansas
Three Grandchildren Logann Williams, Spencer Williams, Beckett Williams of Garden City, Kansas
One Brother Harold (Shirley) Zimmerman of Aurora, Colorado
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas.
Private family interment will take place at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Catherine Hospice, or the All American Beef Battalion in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes 620 N. Main St. Garden City, Kansas 67846.
