When I was younger I took hunters safety under him at the Scott county fairgrounds 4 h building, he would put a blank in the gun and accidently fire it, h said that he would do this to wake every body up and to show the importance of always checking your gun.
In 1999 he stopped and helped me fix my car flats and he took me hunting, I remember he was with his boys I think at his mom's house, he loved em so. I ended up getting a beer by the old entrance of Scott lake. We had permission on private land
My grandpa Henry Mooney respected and liked him. He really had an impact on my life. He was a great guy and friend to my family
