Memorials Services for Larry Gene Ribbing and his wife, Judy K. Ribbing will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Gary Salmans officiating.  Inurnment for both will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas with military honors for Larry.

 

Larry Gene Ribbing was born May 21, 1945 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Eugene W. & Geraldine Oxford Ribbing.  He passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Leoti, Kansas.  He was a Plant Operator for Sunflower Electric, retiring in 2007.  Larry served in the United States Air Force from 1964 through 1968.

 

Judy K. Ribbing was born January 14, 1947 at Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Roy & Bessie McClinden Tabor.  She passed away on May 3, 2014 at Scott City, Kansas.  She was a caterer and cook at the Moose Lodge in Garden City, Kansas.  She enjoyed sewing and making many of her own clothing and patterns, cooking and baking and catering many wedding, funeral and birthday dinners.

 

They had been resident of Garden City, Kansas until 2007, moved to Scott City and then Larry moved to Leoti in 2016.

 

Larry’s surviving family includes-

Judy’s family included-

A Nephew-

Robert Tabor-                                                Topeka, Kansas

 

Their Fur-Babies, Ted E., Mickey & Minnie, who died over the years, will be buried with them also.

 

Memorials may be given to the Leoti E.M.T.’s in Larry & Judy’s name in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
