Obituary of Arlene J. Beaton

Arlene J. Beaton, age 90, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas.  She was born on February 3, 1927 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Clifford C. and Cora Ethel Jones Beeson.  A lifetime resident of Scott County and Scott City, Kansas, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary #3124 of Garden City, Kansas, the Women’s Bowling Association and was formally a member of Lakeview Hustlers EHU.

On May 23, 1947 she married William Edward Beaton in Syracuse, Kansas.  He passed away on December 13, 2000 in Scott City, Kansas.

Survivors include her Four Sons - William Lee Beaton of Scott City, Kansas, John Beaton of Scott City, Kansas, Dennis Beaton of Greeley, Colorado, Tom Beaton of Beloit, Kansas, Two Daughters - Linda Savolt of Garden City, Kansas, Beverly Brown of Prairie Village, Kansas, Seventeen Grandchildren, Twenty Seven Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Five Brothers, Three Sisters and One Great Grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Steve Payne presiding.

Memorials may be made to Arlene Beaton Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
