Josie was a very good family friend with my parents Donald Lindberg and Beatrice. She conducted all of the family business with my father along with Carmen while farming some of my fathers land at Leoti, Ks. They were sugar beet and onion farmers. My father thought highly of all the Hernandez family and I know she will be missed. Her husband Gregory also worked for many years for my father. This all began in the fifties and continued for many years. Sorry that I couldn’t Attend her service. Prayers go out to the family.
Although I haven't seen Josie for almost 20 years, I always considered her to be a good friend. She was always so kind, caring, also fun. She was a super fine cook, I loved the burritos she made for me.
My condolences go out to her children. You can be proud that you had such a woman as Josie for your mother.

Josie was a special person to my father and mother. She handled the family business along with Carmen . They farmed for my father raising and growing sugar beets and onions. This was back in the 50's and 60's. The Hernandez family was a very nice family. Josie was a very loving and caring woman. She cared for her father Pete for many years following his stroke .
