Delores was an amazing woman and like a mom to me. My life was touched by knowing her. Never forget all the fun times at her house . I only remember her getting upset with us one time and she was more concerned we'd be sick after eating two large jars of her canned okra than she was mad at us. Canning was only one of the amazing things she did and I'm thankful Janessa got to learn from the best. She lived fair days working with Delores. Wish we could have traveled more to Missouri together, loved the company. Lots of wonderful memories and I do hope your memories help you through this loss. Always here for all of you! Lori,Kendall and Keith| we are sad to hear of your Mother's passing. We all have our fond memories. For me, she was always so kind and sweet. She was so helpful and taught me a lot. As the new kid on the farm I knew nothing about farm life and I was a little scared(maybe a lot) She was always there for me and we shared many good times.

What a blessing to have had Dolores as a friend and neighbor. I can still hear her soft Arkansas drawl and see her radiant smile (always reminded me a little of Barbara Stanwick from "Big Valley"). I can almost taste the incredible coconut crème pies she wouldn't forget to share with me, made from scratch with fresh eggs from her chickens. But what she shared really was a kindness and sweetness sorely needed in this rough world. I feel at peace knowing that she is with the Lord, but I miss her.
I am so sorry for you'r loss Kendall, Keith and Lori May God Bring you peace Day by day and give you the strength to get through this.I remember her very well even though we were just kids i remember coming over and she was making apple head dolls.I remember all our get togethers cooking out and fishing just like it was yesterday. we played outside till dark we played in hay barnes I think my child hood memory was great had great people all around us.Again i'm really sorry to see her go.
