Obituary of Woodrow J. Jeffery

GARDEN CITY

Woodrow “Woody” J. Jeffery, age 66, died on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas.  He was born on February 6, 1951 in Coffeyville, Kansas, the son of Woodrow W. and Joyce B. Johnson Jeffery.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Garden City, Kansas and he worked in general construction for Lee Construction.  

Survivors include:

    Two Daughters                Tranquility Mader of Garden City, Kansas

                        Christy Jeffery of Liberal, Kansas

    Three Sisters                Jacqueline “Jackey” LaFalier of Bartlett, Kansas

                        Sylvia Lawton of Montrose, Colorado

                        Michelle “Mickey” Duff of Scott City, Kansas

    Five Grandchildren

    One Great Grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Jordan Campbell.

Cremation has been selected and memorial services will take place at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Woody Jeffery Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St. Garden City, Kansas.
