MYRTLE EMMA CROWLEY, AGE 98, PASSED AWAY ON FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2008 AT THE WICHITA COUNTY LONG TERM CARE UNIT IN LEOTI, KANSAS. MYRTLE WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 31, 1909 AT PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO, THE DAUGHTER OF HARRY ERNEST & ALICE MAY BISHARD PUTNAM. SHE WAS A HOMEMAKER AND HAD BEEN A WICHITA COUNTY RESIDENT SINCE 1952 MOVING FROM PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO. MYRTLE WAS A MEMBER OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AND THE EASTERN STAR, BOTH IN LEOTI, KANSAS. ON SEPTEMBER 6, 1927 SHE MARRIED ASHER J. CROWLEY AT DURANGO, COLORADO. HE PASSED AWAY ON MAY 22, 2007 AT LEOTI, KANSAS. MYRTLE'S SURVIVORS INCLUDE- ONE SON & HIS WIFE WILLIS & MABEL CROWLEY- LEOTI, KANSAS TEN GRANDCHILDREN, TWENTY FOUR GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND NUMEROUS GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. SHE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY ONE DAUGHTER AND TWO SISTERS. MEMORIAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2:00 P.M. MONDAY, MAY 5, 2008 AT THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN LEOTI, KANSAS WITH THE REVEREND RICK JUST OFFICIATING. INURNMENT FOR BOTH ASHER AND MYRTLE WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE THIS SUMMER IN PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING TIMES MEMORIALS MAY BE GIVEN TO THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OR THE WICHITA COUNTY AMUSEMENT ASSN. GRANDSTAND PROJECT IN CARE OF PRICE & SONS FUNERAL HOME IN LEOTI, KANSAS.
