Marie Crist, age 88, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2006 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on November 3, 1917 in Shields, Kansas, the daughter of Clair James and Eunice Rachel James VanPelt. A resident of Scott City, Kansas till 1964 when she moved to Garden City, Kansas, she was a homemaker.
Memberships include: First Christian Church Garden City, Kansas
On February 2, 1936 she married Wesley Weishaar in Ness City, Kansas. He passed away on January 9, 1960 in Scott City, Kansas. She then married Ruben Crist on July 15, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed away on August 30, 1993 in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors Include: Five Nephews David VanPelt Scott City, Kansas Vance VanPelt Scott City, Kansas Douglas Harris Wichita, Kansas Ryan VanPelt Great Bend, Kansas Regan VanPelt Bushton, Kansas Two Nieces Marlene Murphy Scott City, Kansas Delilah Tarrant Wichita, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Two Husbands, Two Brothers, and Two Sisters.
