Obituary of Roderick A. McMillan

GARDEN CITY Roderick A. McMillan, age 57, died November 5, 2016, in San Pedro, California. He was born September 1, 1959, in Garden City, Kansas the son of Richard Leroy and Kathleen Ann Stickney McMillan. He attended Garden City schools, and lived in Garden City before residing in California. Survivors include: Two Daughters Alice McMillan of California Bridget McMillan of California Mother Kathleen McMillan of Garden City, Kansas Fourteen Siblings Bruce McMillan of Louisville, Colorado Frederick McMillan of Garden City, Kansas Ricki McMillan, of Minneapolis, Minnesota Mark McMillan of Garden City, Kansas Samual McMillan of Garden City, Kansas Randall McMillan of Garden City, Kansas Marcella Sim of Torrence, California Judith Smith of Holcomb, Kansas Cecilia VanVoorhees of SanRafael, California Teresa Prochaska of Lawrence, Kansas Charles McMillan of Garden City, Kansas James McMillan of Montezuma, Kansas Peter McMillan Lawrence Kansas Mary Gonzalez of Garden City, Kansas He was preceded in Death by his father; wife, Roxanne McMillan; and Grandparents. He was best remembered by his family and friends for his love for his Family, his guitar, animals, and his sense of humor. Memorial service will be held December 18th from 2-5 pm at the Elks Lodge, 905 East Kansas Plaza, Garden City, Kansas 67846. Interment was held in California at a previous date.
