Worked with Elvin at the Wellington for many years. Learned to fly with him..A real mentor for me. Elvin and his wife Juanita mentored my daughters Jenny, Dana and Crystal as well. Loved both very much and know his family misses them. Thank you Elvin.

Have many good memories of Elvin here at Wellington. I was a flight Instructor at the Wellington Airport that Elvin managed while he lived in Wellington. Many good times were spent at airport talking of flying episodes and checking out in different airplanes. Elvin was responsible for a lot of the increase in aviation interest here at Wellington. Am sure he is going to be missed by many people.

To Lloyd, Charles, Ella,
What a great brother you had. And what a great cousin. My memories go to the days when he & Juanita lived in McPherson. On my wedding day, he flew Phil & I out of town, which was so cool. Juanita decorated our reception table.
But we have visited with him and Juanita three times in the last 10 years, of course not Juanita this summer We would park our motor home in their yard. They loved to have us come. Then when we parked our motor home at the motel, they would come to visit us & we would have ice cream. Fond memories. I'm glad we got to visit Elvin several times in July.
Elvin accepted people , just like we are. He never tried to change anyone. He never lost his smile. He never tired of talking about planes. So I just had to snap these plane pictures from the films.
I know his faith in God was secure & deep. I will miss him.
Cousin Carolyn

Teresa and Allen, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I too know the pain of losing both parents. Words cannot change events, but I do want you both to know that you are in my prayers for comfort. Please give yourself permission to smile and laugh when a pleasant memory of you Dad enters your mind.
With Love to you and your family
