My earliest memories of Aunt Edith were when we visited her and Uncle Darrel at their home in Medicine Lodge. I can remember the house and yard well. Aunt Edith worked at the local hospital and would give me some medical things like a surgical mask to play with. She would talk to me in a very deliberate and respectful way as if I was more than just a little kid. I think she must have been a very good elementary school teacher. Over the years, I have not only loved her as an Aunt, but liked her a lot, too. She was a strong and lovely lady. My love and condolences to the rest of the family.
