Richard Long came to my recuse on Hwy 4 Early one morning when I totaled my car after hitting a deer. He hauled my car all the way to Garden City for me for a small fee. I always enjoyed visiting with him and he helped a lot of people in his life. Kind Man. Susan Mcdaniel DL Specialist

So very sorry to hear of Richards passing. We lived across the street from him (2010-2015) and every big holiday I would take him meals and he always had a good story to tell! He was a very caring man. He will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Mitch and Wally, so sorry about the loss of your dad. It broke my heart when I head of his sickness. I always tried to keep in contact with him over all these years. Memories go back when we moved to Scott City and all the trips made after we moved back to Iowa. Then I stopped to visit one day and stayed and worked for couple of years. Your dad had a big heart and helped a lot of people. He will be missed, What a great person.
