Paul, Bruce and Sue Ann,
I am sorry for your earthly loss but thrilled for her heavenly gain.
Your mom is special. So many great memories. Our moms were very close and she would often be there for me when I needed a 2nd mom. My fondest memory was when I needed to be somewhere and my mom was not home to take me. I could locate her by phone. I called your mom in tears and she was there before I could get my coat on. It was weird at first to transition from Mrs. Stallsworth to Mary Lou but she became a friend to me as well and was interested in my life.
Mary Lou was my youth group leader and encouraged me to play the piano for our group. I was really bad and knew only one song. Standing on the Promises-I think of her when I sing that song. I look forward to being with Mary Lou again in eternity where we can sing that song together in perfection.

So sorry to learn of Mary Lou's death, and especially sorry that I could not be at the memorial service. I will send a check to the memorial fund at FUMC Garden City.
Mary Lou was an inspirational woman and a blessing to all who knew her.

Mary Lou was a world-class woman! My mother, Hazel Midyett, loved her dearly and considered her a best friend. Even when they lived in different states, they wrote and talked regularly, often sharing prayer requests. My father, who sold real estate part-time for Atherton, Stallsworth, Elson often quipped that she was the best thing about Clyde!!! I know that her family was the most important part of her life. I'm sure that she and Hazel are currently having s big reunion, and they will continue to watch over us all. My deepest condolences for your loss.

I am honored to have known Mary Lou. She shared many kind words about my late husband, Duane, with me. Her gentle, calming spirit made her very easy to love. I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Sue Anne and family,
I am very sad to hear about your mom's death. I remember your mom as a fun and energetic person. We always laughed a lot when she would make her "Mary Lou" comments. I can remember several rounds of hilarious laughter when you, Janet and I went to music camp in Tulsa, with our mom's driving. I hope that you and your family can find Peace and feel God's love for all of you during this difficult time. May God Bless You all. Sincerely, Candy (Anderson) Cunningham.
