Audery M. Cook, age 96, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 3, 1913 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of James F. and Rosa Belle Myers Storm. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a bakery clerk, Sunday School Teacher and a Girl Scout Leader. Memberships include the First Christian Church and Christian Women's Fellowship of Scott City, Kansas. On July 1, 1939 she married Grant D. Cook in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on December 30, 1981 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors Include her One Daughter - Shirley & Dixon Beeson of For Mohave, Arizona, One Son - James & Debbie Cook of Taylorsville, North Carolina, One Grandson - Shannon Beeson of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Three Granddaughters - Caron Cook of Knoxville, Tennessee, Catie Cook of Fort Knox, Kentucky, Christine Eicholz of El Reno, Oklahoma and Four Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and Three Brothers - Infant, Virgil Storm and Austin Storm. Funeral Services will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home - Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 with the Rev. Jeff Knighton presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Scott County EMT's % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott CIty. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
