Want to send my condolences. I had emailed Jan shortly before she had retired and told her she was my hero. She was the strongest women I ever met. Always had a smile so that you never knew what she was or had gone through. Of course, she never responded and I knew she wouldn't. I just wanted her to know how much I'd admired her. Janie was one of the sweetest, kindest, dearest ladies that I have ever known. She taught 3 of my children and several of my Grandchildren. Teaching was her passion and you could tell by the way the children loved her. She was an inspiration to many! Robert called her his hero as they both were taking chemo at the same time. He couldn't believe how she could have chemo on Friday and be back to teaching on Monday! She was one tough person!!! She fought a hard fight and earned her wings in Heaven! I know she is smiling down on all of her family and former students. We love you Janie and know that we will see you again someday! Say Hello to Robert for me! RIP Sweet Jane! My heart is breaking and I'm praying for strength for all of your family during this most difficult time! Roxie
