Leoti, Kansas Lloyd L. Geyer, age 90, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his home in Leoti, Kansas. Lloyd was born October 8, 1925 in Leoti, Kansas, the son of Elmer & Lola ( Coffman ) Geyer. A lifetime resident of Wichita County, Kansas, he was a farmer and stockman. Lloyd was a veteran, serving in the United States Army during World War Two, seeing active field artillery duty in Europe. Lloyd was a member of the Lydia United Methodist Church in Wichita County and the Veterans Of Foreign Wars of Leoti, Kansas. Lloyd’s surviving family includes- Three sons- Rick & Renee Geyer- Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Roger & Marsha Geyer- Derby, Kansas Russell & Vicky Geyer- St. George, Kansas Three siblings- Betty Baker- Marienthal, Kansas Sydney & Sharon Geyer- Shadow Hills, California Norma & Howard Siebert- Sharon Springs, Kansas Seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews that were so dear to him. His parents, one son, Robert Geyer and four brothers precede him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Brad Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas with full military honors provided by the United States Army Funeral Detail and the District 8 VFW Honors Team. Friends may call from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Wichita County Health Center or the Leoti EMT’s in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family through the funeral home website at priceandsons.com
