Obituary of Albert Klaus

Albert P. Klaus, age 80, died Tuesday September, 22, 2015 at his residence in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on July 25, 1935 in Delta, Colorado, the son of Anton and Eva Knob Klaus. He was a lifetime member of the Holcomb and Garden City communities working as a farmer. He was a member of the local VFW, St. Dominic Catholic Church, and the local Knights of Columbus. On February 7, 1982 he married Caroline Young in Dodge City, Kansas. She survives. Other Survivors include: Ten Children Peter Klaus Of Holcomb, Kansas Mary Benton of Lawrence, Kansas Roger Klaus of Norman, Oklahoma Brenda Hill of Garden City, Kansas Joseph Klaus of Holcomb, Kansas Julie Castaneda of Topeka, Kansas Steven Pamplin of Dahlonaga, Georgia Mark Pamplin of Garden City, Kansas Jennifer Kreutzer of Garden City, Kansas Jo Queta Lee of Holcomb, Kansas Two Brothers Don Klaus of Garden City, Kansas Ken Klaus of Montrose, Colorado Two Sisters Marcella Ricord of Farmington, New Mexico Dorothy Decker of Coffeyville, Kansas He is precede in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, one son-in-law, and one granddaughter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:30 A.M at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas. Vigil services will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Friends may call from 1:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday and from 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. on Friday at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
