I can't remember a time that I didn't know Karla! She was such a good friend to my mom for many years and my brother and his family went to her home for meeting for many years. Our family loved her and we have many good memories of her (and Steve) and your family! I'm so sorry you have lost your mom when she was so young, but with the sorrow comes the joy of her finishing well! I spent a lot of time at the McKnights since I was "right across the road". Karla, Elaine and I all grew up together and I felt like one of their family. Melva taught us how to make "Thing-a-ma-jigs" and they are still a favorite of my grown children. My brother and sisters grew up with Daryl and Loren. My most sincere sympathy to Karla's entire family. Karla and I have shared a lifelong friendship since early childhood. Having grown up together, going to school together and spending lots of time at each other's homes. I always loved going to the McKnight farm. So many wonderful memories.
