Lorena "Rene" R. Chvilicek, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 24, 1917 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Walter Ray and Neva Ellen Binns Shearmire. A lifetime resident of Scott County, Kansas, she moved to Scott City in 1976 from Modoc, Kansas. She was a homemaker and an avid bowler.
Memberships include: St. Joseph's Catholic Church Scott City, Kansas Modoc Sewing Club Modoc, Kansas VFW Scott City, Kansas
On August 16, 1938 she married August Chvilicek in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on April 29, 1991 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors Include: One Daughter Peggy Kennedy Scott City, Kansas One Brother Ray Shearmire Garden City, Kansas One Sister Jacque Snow Scott City, Kansas One Grandson James Lee Kennedy Scott City, Kansas One Great Grandson Cody Kennedy Scott City, Kansas One Great Granddaughter Amanda Kennedy Scott City, Kansas One Great Great Granddaughter Claire Williams Goodland, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband â August, One Son, One Daughter, Three Brothers and Five Sisters.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home - Scott City.
